You can try unplugging the paneldue as well when using just USB power just in case the extra power draw from the panel is causing issues.

The results of M122 would be helpful.

I'm around 60% complete of a 11 hour print. I'll update when it's finished.

Phaedrux, it turned out that I actually was not using reprap firmware 3 but instead had been using 2.03, I must have not completed the update on the firmware. It all works now which i'm very happy about. Thank you all for your time and help.

Well your M115 result showed you were using a 2.02 release candidate. So I chose the latest files for RRF2 that should still be compatible with whatever config files shipped with the promega.

Now that you're up and running I would suggest maybe taking the opportunity to update to RRF3 and make a fresh config file set, but I'm not sure how complex the existing one from M3D is and how comfortable you'd be trying to get a fresh config file going.

Either way, make a backup of your current configs and if you do want to update...

If you still have access to DWC. Upload these 3 zip files, one at a time in the system tab. Don't extract them first. Reboot after each. Use M115 in the gcode console to verify the firmware has been applied.

When you pointed out the behavior that was different from mine I paid more attention to what I was doing.

Still ignores the cancel 😞 and informs me Linux is disconnected.

Just tried it from DWC and clicked cancel it and it carries on and shuts down.
I think mine is either a firmware or DWC issue.

Hope someone can assist me and others that are struggling to cancel M291 commands.

@deckingman Thanks for the note, I expected the order would match the order of created extruders. I'll fix that in the next beta. Eventually I will move the "Change visibility" links away from the Status page to the Settings page and get rid of the drop-down menu but I cannot give you an estimate yet. For now I'll check if I can make the drop-down menu persistent when items are clicked. Also, I'll change DWC so that the first six extruders are displayed by default instead of the first two.

@phaedrux It was empty, wifi works fine when I copy everything over into a new config.g file, I did save config.g and reboot right before the wifi dropped. Looks like my psu is dead and not putting out 24V anymore too, completely unrelated though.

Another update for those that might be trying to figure out this stuff in the future.

To setup duplicate mode offsets set the X axis offset to 0 and the U axis offset by the total length of your axis (distance between X stop and U stop).

I cannot figure out a sound method for setting up the mirror mode offsets as I had to just trial and error my way through it (stupid me thinking they'd be the same as the duplicate mode). I found a ratio between the X and -U offsets that add up to the length of my axis and put the tool at X0 U0 through trial and error. My axis is 397.5 and at offsets X150 and U-247.5 the tool position would read 0, but the print heads would still move a little and crash. I then found the offset X165 and U-247.5 that would make it so the tool heads would not move when the tool was changed but the tool position would read 7.5. I learned this tool position could then be offset by any amount without causing crashing issues as long as the same value was subtracted of the X offset and added to the U axis. To find the value I needed to offset this by I took the home position of my T0 (-182.9) and subtracted 7.5 from it getting 190.4. I then subtracted this from my X (165-190.4=-25.4) and added it to my U (-247.5+190.4=-57.1).

I don't understand why this is like this and why this stuff isn't well understood/documented. Are others having the same issues on their IDEX setups or is this my machine specific?

@engikeneer & @Phaedrux - thanks and yes... a way to manual adjust my screws while I wait for my TFTs to arrive because currently I turn them the printer off and adjust as required.. a bit more work, but doable.

@obzocker, TMC drivers lose their settings when VIN is removed. RRF will restore the settings when VIN is restored, however the axes will be flagged as not having been homed, so only special moves such as homing moves will be allowed.

Okay, thank you. Good info, I definitely want good security if I did this. Sounds like VPN would be the way to go I will look into how to set that up in the future perhaps.
