@nxt-1 My question is this, is the blue LED off, solid on, or blinking during the times your Duet board is not pingable? That would at least tell if the board is connected to the access point or wifi router or hub.

@achrn I can see why this happens. Normally, the feed rate you specify in the G1 command refers to the combined movement of the XYZ (and any other linear) axes. But when homing all 3 towers simultaneously on a delta, we want the feed rate to refer to the individual speeds of each of the towers. So RRF multiples the feed rate you ask for by sqrt(3) so that when it does the calculations, you get the correct feed rate. A consequence of that is that the reported feed rate is incorrect.

@jay_s_uk Hi, I also tryed to add a new language to the older version of DWC and after updating it like you sad in this post i have a small problem with a tool states. Insted of "active" i have "stedby", and insted of "off" I have "generic.heaterStates.disconnected" and "generic.heaterStates.disconnected" isn't in the .js file anywhare. The translation is made correctly because those words stay the same. And the question is if change the order in the language .js file will it be ok? or do i have to do some other changes? Before actualization the was WDC was in version 2.something unfotunately i do not remeber and now it is 3.4.0b1
The electronics is in second version that might be a reason why this bug occured.

@dc42 - So sorry for starting this thread then going silent. I thought I had it set to email me when there were replies (newbie error).

I'm running a Duet2 clone board and have the RR3.3 firmware running. I'm not near the machine now so I can't look for a more detailed version number, but I downloaded mine at the end of June.

My homez.g is attached and you'll see I don't have an M292 in it, just the M291. homez.g Apologies fr the extraneous comment lines at the end. They are a leftover from the file when I inherited it.

And I'm running standalone. And I've tried this with web control and also PanelDue. I get the error messages on both.

@oliof Yes, its a different frontend that has some usefull things DWC still haven't (user permits and passwords protection, network control, easy usage for unskilled personel, timelapse and extensive reporting, repositories....)

All without loose any of trusty DWC usage.

I just found my mistake, after checking the configuration file muliple times i noticed a typing mistake at the M586 command. Thank you all for your great support.

Your laptop probably has an Ethernet port that attempts to auto detect whether the connections need to be crossed or not. The connections need to be crossed when you connect the laptop directly to the Ethernet port of a device such as another PC or a Duet, but not when you connect it to a router or Ethernet switch. My guess is that the detection that a crossover is needed isn't always working.

Search Amazon or eBay for "Ethernet crossover adapter" or "Ethernet crossover cable".

@droftarts I tried this but it still did not work. Maybe I am doing something wrong? Could you give me a process with YAT and the config.g file, etc. I want to use 192.168.2.1 as the address I visit in the browser. I can configure my computer to 192.168.2.2?

What version of DWC is on the machine?

Can you check the developer console on the mac or linux browser to see if there are any errors?

Thanks everyone! I got a lot more experience now after reading into it for a bit.
DSF was a good way to start. Especially since it was aligned with the board we use now (a pi controlling a smaller motherboard)
