I have a 1/2" MIC6 Cast Alum Flat bed I purchased from Mcmaster carr
this is fixed to the frame of my bed.
on top I am using a Magnet spring steel sheet. with FR4 glued to the sheet, this sheet is also held down around the edges using a cam clamp bar on 3 sides as shown in this video.

Euclid Probe mounted onto a hemera, which is on a Exoslide based printer with similar setup to a Voron 2.4 but the gantry motion is cartesian, similar to Ender 5

This works for me: Move the mouse to the upper right corner of the Gcode entry - a "¶" character should appear. With the right mouse button, call the context menu and "open link in a new tab". From there, you get the link URL.

@moth4017 I'm pretty sure that you can't really turn it off without resetting the driver completely after you used it once.

Well, at least measured sent step count seems to be correct (2400steps/mm -> 240k steps for 100mm). Maybe stepper analyzer could be used for skipped microsteps?

Well crap, the error is back ...... I guess I will have to either power cycle my printer on a regular basis or live with the error every time I open a DWC window 😞

@oliof I think I was using .6 or .7 with a long Bowden tube (as recommended on the duet PA website). I have since switched to a direct drive extruder (lgx ace), so this is really no longer an issue for me.

@mortarart Add or increase the "S" parameter in your M570. Use with caution but if a genuine fault is unlikely to be a fire hazard, then try something like 600 (10 minutes) or even higher

@adamfilip did you try networking with Nurgelrot ?

Do a test print with the bed heater off and see if the banding disappears.

What did you end up changing?

It ended up being the Z Step after all. Ended up having to double it to 800 steps/mm. For anyone who stumbles on this, I'm using Prusa MINI + Z-Axis lead screws.

@flobler OK, I figured it out already 😄

This was a stupid typo that I then carried from bed-temperature.g to hotend-temperature.g via copy paste. I tried all these files with PLA previously which worked fine. This time I had PETG loaded but unfortunately looked for PTEG in the object model and not PETG.

Therefore the loaded filament and my bed-temperature.g and hotend-temperature.g system files did not match and therefore not use PETG temperatures before trying to start the print.

Sorry for the noise 😉
