@dc42 I have not updated my firmware as its been working great, I was on 3.4 which must be why I did not get a report when I unplugged the connector. The temperature is showing 2000C when it spikes.

I took the wires out of the track and let them dangle so I could try to reproduce the short by manually manipulating the wires. Then my plan was to replace them but the spikes completely stopped. I put the wires back in the track and still no temperature spikes. Its so strange, if/when it continues I'll try replacing the wires. Its strange that it stopped all the sudden and that I could not cause the short by manually manipulating the wires.

Thanks for the help! It turns out changing M201 worked perfectly fine from the start. I expected to see a larger amount of ringing between accelerations but I was printing fast enough as I forgot to turn up perimeter under speed.

@stephen6309 I've already done that once for the fans. I feel that making custom connectors/cable kind of defeats the purpose of using a tool board.

@3dprintingworld download and look at the ibom.html files for the older version of the tool boards with terminal blocks at https://github.com/Duet3D/Duet3-Toolboard-1LC which should show the terminals used. Would do it myself, but on phone!

That's right. When the printer starts up it will get whatever values are in config.g. It will be up to you to load the appropriate macro needed for the bed surface when it changes.

In addition to this. This IDEX also uses independent z leveling on a kinematic coupling. Instead of just moving the bed up and down, wouldn't it be more ideal if the bed also tilted to match the height of both nozzles instead of just one?

@Phaedrux Looks like a T1 in the home all fixes it. I dont understand why you have to call the tool probe as the WIKI states that the probe must be on the X axis tool.

@dc42 If I issue a G28 Z then wont it start to start a cyclic dependency. Since homez has a G32? Or should the G32 only be in home all?

Actually it was not the thermistor but the cable...
