@jckray I figured it out. micro usb port on the paneldue had been bumped and the solder joint had been broken

Not sure what happened, but I reloaded the firmware because I thought I found a 1.17 copy, turned out it was 1.15b, so I went back to 1.19.2 and this time I only changed the WiFi Server to 1.93 instead of 1.21 and presto, everything is working again. I won't pretend that was the intention, but I'll take it. Thank you for your help. I did however go in and clean all of the macros up, the original writer of them had them somewhat very vanilla. I found a tutorial, I believe you wrote, that explained it in very great detail, so I copied many of your examples and reworked them for my setup.

Oh, one thing I forgot to mention... The default baud rate on the PanelDue is actually 57600. I have mine set to 115200 which is the "b115200" on the socat command line. If yours is at the default, replace "b115200" with "b57600".

changing the file path and file name and path as required.

It is actually that low coming out of the duet.... It’s 4.3v right out the connector.. but i’m using the one that comes from filastruder sold with the panel due... it’s actually sort of dissapointing, i paid extra for it but it’s not keyed like the connectors are, it’s just pin header connections...

@jacotheron I was referring more to speed at which the filament is fed but yes with Bowden high speed and long distance is key.

You can connect the 10-pin ribbon cable socket on the PanelDue 7i to the CONN_SD port on the Duet using a 10-way straight through ribbon cable, instead of using the 4-way cable and the PanelDue connector.

Be aware that some USB ports (especially on laptop computers) may not be able to supply enough current for a Duet + 7" PanelDue.

Thanks for your patch, I will include this in the next release of PanelDueFirmware.

Make sure that your nextio doesn't feed more than 3.3V into the receive port of the PanelDue connector.

I prefer to put the M587 SSID and Password command in a "SETNETWORK" macro which I write to the SD card using a PC, and then run the macro from PanelDue.
