White screen on Panel DUE 5i
-
Hi,
I tried to connect my PanelDue to my Duet3 mini 5+ but there is a white screen and no response when I click on it.
So i tried to flash the firmware from DWC but nothing, DWC tells me :" Error: M997: Aux port 0 is not enabled or not in PanelDue mode".
I connected it with the 4 wires cable provided and also with the ribbon cable to try but nothing.
I also try to flash the firmware with Bossa, I read the firmware and i verified it and it tells me that is ok but there s the white screen again
I don't know what can I try now ... If someone can give me some help it will be nice
Thanks in advance. -
@aodrennn sounds like you're flashing the wrong file.
what specifically is the name of the firmware file you've used? -
@aodrennn Have you added the command to the config.g?
M575 P1 S1 B57600
-
@jay_s_uk
I used this firmware :
-
@aodrennn is it a real paneldue or a fysetc clone?
-
@rushmere3d
Yeah i got ths gcode in my config.g
-
@jay_s_uk I don't think so, I bought it on E3D Online
-
@aodrennn I would redownload the firmware and follow the instructions here again https://docs.duet3d.com/User_manual/RepRapFirmware/Updating_PanelDue#firmware-update-via-usb
-
@jay_s_uk I'll retry it, thanks
-
@jay_s_uk There is nothing new
-
And it writes and verifies successfully?
You've pressed the erase/reset buttons?
Can you show some photos of the screen showing white?
Can you show the bossa settings? -
-
Yeah I have "Read completed successfully" and then "Verify successful".
-
Before read the firmware with Bossa I pressed erase and reset and after I read the firlware, I repressed reset.
-
Here is the white screen I have
-
I don't really what did you mean with "Bossa settings" but here is my Bossa window
-
-
Please try flashing once more with this file
https://github.com/Duet3D/PanelDueFirmware/releases/download/3.4.0/PanelDueFirmware-3.4.0-5.0i.bin
-
@aodrennn I assume that after you flashed it using Bossa, Bossa reported success? And that after that you pressed the Reset button again (not the Erase button), but the screen remained white? If so then we will replace the PanelDue, so please email warranty@duet3d.com with a link to this post.
-
@phaedrux nothing better, the white screen still here
-
@dc42 Yeah, that's I did like 10 times ... If it works normally, the screen would become with all button like "home"... just after I pressed the reset button ? (I don't know if my sentence is correct sorry, I hope you understand what I mean).
And I tell in the mail that I baught the display on E3D ? I copy E3D's support ?
Thanks for your help ! -
