It doesn't really matter where your config.g file comes from as long as you adapt it when necessary to handle new firmware versions. See https://github.com/dc42/RepRapFirmware/blob/dev/WHATS_NEW for the upgrade notes for recent firmware versions.

If your homeall.g file is very old then it might not do the simultaneous homing of X and Y axes that we do now.

You could arrange your starting gcode to have this at the start, before your other G10 commands:

G10 P0 S0 R195
G10 P1 S0 R195
T0
T1
T-1

This will start both tools heating to standby temperatures.

The way I do it is to keep and maintain the complete system on my PC backed up to a NAS as well as cloud storage. Files are only ever transferred from the PC to the sd card, not the other way round. Given the number of posts I've read from people who have lost or damaged or had failures of their sd cards, it seems like a good plan to me.

I've got version 2 with improved components and pre soldered dupont pins. It worked fine on one print, then changed filament types and troubles began. While re-looking at this, this morning, I notice my M558 command looks like this-M558 P1 X0 Y0 Z1. I'm using my probe for Z axis homing and bed probing only. Is this line correct? Should the Z1 be there?

Yes, the Z1 means that you use the probe for Z homing.

i cannot find the the three wires step,enable,dir for x and y and z because they are implemented inside the kit
how can i get their outside and connect them to the 3.5 amp stepper and driver
plz feedback with all about that and the wiring

Use the E2, E3 and E4 step/dir/enable pins on the expansion connector, then use the M584 command in config.g to map the X, Y and Z axes to those driver channels.
