      I'll have to toy around with it more later. I actually found out today I had a faulty PSU causing most of my headaches. On any load change it was causing my lighting to flicker a little. It was not enough to cause printing issues but it was noticable in the lighting and the main reason I was trying to get hardware PWM working (so I could do higher PWM frequencies and avoid the communication from klipper). But now that I got hardware PWM on the lights and the issue persisted, I realized it could be a bad PSU. I finally tried a different PSU and everything is perfect. Working on RMA now.

      Either way, I appreciate all the info and quick responses as always.

      Not without changing the firmware, default firmware will only look at the internal slot for config.g and /www at least

      The SD card on the PanelDue also runs slower than the on board one.

      OK thanks for pointing me in the right direction. It was connected to E1, moved the cable to E0 now. Going to try again but I'm fairly certain that was it. And yes, the led on the board blinks along with the led on the sensor. Thanks again.

      I'm glad it's working. The reason we keep the heaters off during the recovery time is that some probes (e.g. BLTouch) need to recover from the effects of the magnetic field generated by the bed heater.

      I have not but since it powers on at around 35C iā€™m assuming the actual temp is about 10C lower and not the cause of my issues. Thanks though, wasn't aware of that.

      @fbg My issue turned out to be some sort of hardware problem. Thing is I've had odd issues since I bought the board but always though it was attributed to Wifi. When I moved to Ethernet the issues persisted and I'm already way out of my warranty period. Either way I ended up buying a Fystec Duet from Ali because in no way am I going to spend another $200+ for the real thing.

      Either way my fystec has been working perfectly, and I'm saving the authentic Duet (with the hardware issue) for a klipper-based build since klipper doesn't rely on a network connection to the duet board.

      You could do that if you connect a microswitch to the laser filament monitor, that detects absence of filament. the laser filament monitor has a 2-pin connector for this switch.

      Not much of an improvement. The write speeds test showing 2.65MB/s now and 64kb cluster size.

      Actual transfers over network don't seem to have improved.

      Not sure I understand the benefit of this behavior.

      It's not like the printer can multi-task and handle multiple users telling to do different things in parallel.

      Wouldn't it make sense to just echo input and their output to all consoles?

      Maybe at the least label that the commands and/or results are coming from something initiated at another console, but I'd think anything the printer is doing would be important info at all consoles.

      @dc42 Got it figured out. When I moved the pins around I think I must've messed up the crimp for the data pin. I tested continuety across all pins the first time around but not after moving the pin to the correct position. It's actually showing readings now. Thank you.

      I am assuming that you've measured your z offset using G30 S-1 already.

      You should probably also test G30 manually before using it in your script just to make sure things are behaving as you expect. Move the head to where you want to probe and send G30 from the console. Either trigger the probe by hand if you can to test if it's working, or be ready to kill the power incase something isn't right.

      The toggle macro seems to work in either state and the printer is responsive from the paneldue.

      One of the requirements:
      "Each Z motor must be driven from a separate stepper motor output on the Duet + optional DueX expansion board"

      Guess there is no way around this requirement? Like reasigning the E1 or E0 to be the second Z?

      I think I know what happened but I'm still annoyed.

      I've had this thing stop printing on my before so seeing the screen garbled up I thought it was about to happen again. I think it was related to having even logging enabled and too many writes to the SD card.

      Here is where things went wrong... I touched the screen (with no images just lines) and heard a beep, I believe I changed the extruder from active to standby or off. After going to the web console I saw the errors but I already killed the print because it stopped extracting when I changed the mode of the extruder. FML
