Hey, all got a question about stepper motors. Is there such a thing as best for precision. Like If you were to build a printer and money wasn't a problem what would be the best stepper motor you would buy and why?

looks like you might be right on the thermistor values.
10:18:06 AMWarning: Heater 0 appears to be over-powered. If left on at full power, its temperature is predicted to reach 219C.

Auto tuning heater 1 using target temperature 240.0°C and PWM 1.00 - do not leave printer unattendedgoing to try another cube and will drop the temp to 215 nozzle and 60 bed and see if this has helped any. The reason i went with 220 on this is with the old marlin board that came with the system it printed the best at this temp for the amazon basic black pla. The reason i switched over to duet was the system was so loud printing and i wanted a quieter system with better controls. will post up the result of the new print when they are done.

RE: Ender 5 with duet duo 2 wifi firmware 3.1 config
well digging around some i found out if i force the M203 command M203 X6000 Y6000 Z300 E10000 everything starts working fine speed is back up to where it needs to be. I go into the config.g file and make the changes there save it restart the printer and check the settings are correct still but the next print the speed goes back down to 8.4-11.8mm/s. whats happening with this ?

Ender 5 with duet duo 2 wifi firmware 3.1 config
Hello all wanted to see if anyone has a good working config for this type of setup. I recently updated the firmware to the newest version and I am having a lot of issues I can't seem to track down. The biggest one is print speed is stuck at 11.4mm/s no matter what i change it to in cura nothing changes. I looked in the firmware but i don't seem to see anything that stands out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Duet homing on Ender 5
I don't have my Z probe setup yet so can't comment as to what that should be set for but the other stops I am running are from the original ender 5 and I have mine all set to Active High (NC) and at low end and they all work fine on the duet 2 wifi.

Active High (NC) and at low end should fix it. Also make sure your end stop cables are right to.

RE: Fan0 and Fan1 not working together.
Hi @deckingman thanks for the response. To answer the first one I like to try to optimize everything to get the most out of it for efficiency. If I could drop the fan speed down to say 50% on warm up then ramp it up as it neared max temp I wanted I could potentially shave a few seconds off the start time. Plus I am a stickler for seeing everything in nice panels where I can verify everything is working before a print. I thought about water cooling but was afraid it might add a little to much weight to print head but still might be interesting to try I have a bunch of old computer water blocks that might fit. I had been trying to enable the fans using the commands but I don't remember off hand if I tried the M563 ones I will have to give that a shot but still lost as to why the voltage of the fan would drop to 12v on one fan when F0 and F1 are plugged in even during printing. I will try setting them as tools when I get home later and let you know if this fixes it.

Fan0 and Fan1 not working together.
Running into a strange problem that I cant see to figure out for the life of me. I have my part cooling blower on F0 and my hot end fan on F1. On the web interface I wanted to be able to see both and control both. I have tried to do the M106 P0 H-1 S500 and same for the P1. It would seem that I can only get P0 to come on with the slider or the command when they are both plugged in. I have checked the fans each solo and the voltages for them show 24v on the cables. I can swap the blower and the hot end fan in on F0 and they both work and solo on F1 they both work. When they are both plugged in 1 of the will drop to 12V while the other is running. Any ideas ?

RE: Looking for some help on a Creality Ender 5 config.
temp tower came out ok still getting some sloppy corners but bridging came out a bit crappy. Ran a 190-235 tower it everything 200 and up was ok 190 was a no go. nothing but string at the top.
I had taken off my TL-smoothers from when I was running on the stock marlin board do you think I should add those back on?

I will give this a try as i am getting tired of printing flawed dice all day lol. This is what they recomend for the filament i got.
