With most of the hardware kinks worked out, it's time to fine tune the printing. I figuered I'd start out with something kinda fun before doing all the XYZ blocks, Benchys, circles, towers and squares. So in appreciation of a really neat controller board:

The video is 3X actual speed.

RE: Fine editor for working with Duet boards

Intel's Aedit running on MS-DOS was the best!
8" floppies, MCS-51 Dev system on wheels the size of a fridge.
And before that punched tape and cards!
You didn't run programs, you submitted them as a batch file overnight, to then find out you made a typo!
You "Younglings" are spoiltSneaking in a batch of cards to print KISS's logo a few dozen times to give to friends!

RE: My labor of Love/Hate
@phaedrux "The Powered by" one? I had actually deleted all the files for the original but per your request I created another. It is not exactly as the first I'm sure, but should be close enough for the eyeball.
Here is the direct dl link form Dropbox:https://www.dropbox.com/s/zgcy0y74gtyhdkq/pwrdbyd3d.stl?dl=1
If for some reason the dl or the stl does not work, let me know.
Cheers!

RE: It's out! Firmware 1.21 released
@dc42 I have my Duet WiFi up and running very well, but this tweaking of the coding is somewhat new to me. I would love to be able to go back to moving before/without homing. Can you tell me where in config.g and what syntax if any for me to enter the M564 H0 command? Thanks!
Nice Forum BTW Everyone here seems cool and helpful. -
RE: Serial connection and opposite spin direction
This is how I have done it in the past with a Duet board.

RE: Configuration
That can happen with an outdated or misconfigured web browser. Like IE 11 for example. I use Firefox to open the site and it runs the scripts perfectly.

Proof of Concept: The CoffeeMaker
My ideas and my design of what I feel to be the most simple, uncluttered/uncomplicated clean and unique take on the Ultimaker style gantry. I humbly submit, The CoffeeMaker Concept.
VIDEO here... https://vimeo.com/274398226
Without even a tiny bit of tweaking, the movement of this concept is ROCK SOLID!

RE: Black 1.75mm ABS that prints shiny.
For those who may find it useful, I found that Kodak brand ABS (for the black at least) prints with even more shine than Sainsmart!

Black 1.75mm ABS that prints shiny.
My stash of Sainsmart black ABS has ran out and no longer available it seems, even straight from them. Except for an old roll of Hatchbox, no other brand I have tried in the last couple years printed with a shiny surface. Anyway, long story short, does anyone have a lead on Black 1.75mm ABS that prints well and leaves a shiny surface?
Thanks -
RE: Communication directly via TCP (without using HTTP)
Are you wanting to configure a connection so the Duet can act like/as a network/workgroup drive/resource? Like for drag and drop file movement?

@Surgikill I hear ya. Tinkering can lead to your hands/fingers lookin' like ya washed 'em with barbed wire.
