The file was already the right name when it downloaded, the issue was it was always uploading it to the sys folder and I didn’t know why. I manually created the firmware folder and dropped the file in it, I was able to install it then. I realised afterwards I can actually change the directory in dwc from sys to firmware where the uploaded files end up. Just never knew that. Once the file was in the firmware folder it worked 1st time and I’m going to print a new case with a pin hole instead of the button if I can ever get it to stop banging and layer shifting.

Figured it out, I thought my double quotations "" set in keyboard settings were in straight down format but they weren't, didn't even know it was a thing. If it helps anyone else here it is lol.

@sinole If you are not getting missed steps on Z then just lower the current and/or set the motor standstill current using M917.

Is there some video or tutorial kicking around on tuning spread cycle and stealth chop, I don’t get it?

@dc42 Could you give me a path to follow on what I need to do make the Neopixels run off the sbc, ill find a local coder to do the job for me.

I'm also missing M669 = declaration of kinematic modell. It should come very early in the config.g. (eg. right behind the paneldue-line)

Not required for a std Cartesian as that is the default also not required for a Delta as the 665/666 set that one up.

This guide has only recently been updated, so it may change. I’ve removed the ‘location’ part in “ You will get a message if it is missing, with the filename and location it expects” as it does not tell you where it expects the file to be, though I will suggest it!

You'd have to check the data sheet from trinamic but I believe it's 100c+ before a warning so you should be ok.

Turns out it was a bad cable with it's brand new Slice Engineering thermistor and not an issue with the config.

Where does it state that?

A PanelDue would normally be connected using the ribbon cable. However, if you want to use a 4-wire cable (for example because you need it to be longer than the ribbon cable is allowed to be), you can connect it to IO0 in the same way as on the Duet 3 MB6HC. see https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Getting_Started_With_Duet_3#Section_Connecting_a_PanelDue.
