Cannot Connect via USB to DuetWifi
-
My Wireless network recently changed and I needed to update the DuetWifi to connect and change credentials
I plugged in via USB to MY PC, Duet powers on but no Data seem to be connecting, doesnt show up in device manager, cannot connect via TerminalBeen following documentation
https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Guide/1.)+Getting+Connected+to+your+Duet/7Also tried a Mac laptop, cant connect
not sure what to try next, -
Try some different USB cables and ports.
-
Tried two different cables that I have, and all ports on both machines
-
A couple possible workarounds that don't require USB.
Do you have a PanelDue you could use to input the new SSID?
You could also remove the SD card, edit config.g to add the SSID, boot up once and it should connect to the wifi, then you can remove the SSID adding line again.

My Old PanelDue no longer connects (not a new issue)
I edited the config.g with the NEW SSD,
but so far, its not connecting, when I check my Router for connected devices. -
@adamfilip, if you are using the current version of DuetWiFiServer (1.21) then the blue led on the WiFi module will flash a few times as it tries to connect and then go solid blue if the connection is successful. However, your new router will have assigned a different IP address from the old one.

i ended up erasing the duet and starting over, had issues connecting to a new wifi router i installed, (2.4) so i plugged in my old router and it connected fine.
working now, but wish i knew why it wouldnt connect to new router (2.4)
