Sensorless Homing Core XY
-
Good afternoon,
I am in search of some help getting sensorless homing working on my core xy machine.I used the documentation page to setup the basic bits of my config file but have had no luck with any adjustments to config.g
I tried adjusting speeds as well as motor currents percentages and my machine just runs into the edge and keeps trying to move causing shuttering and for me to immediately shut off the machine.
I have tried using several homex/homey config files from related sources and nothing has worked. homex.g
I'm not sure what I'm missing. Are there other variables that should be adjusted besides feed rate and motor current percentage?
What other details are needed to troubleshoot this with me?
Thanks,

You should try calculating your minimum speed required to detect a stall with your motors.

- Stall sensitivity in the M915 command
- Minimum speed for stall detection in the M915 command
- Driver mode during homing (stealthChop for TMC2209 drivers, spreadCycle for other drivers used on Duets)
