Firmware upload Duet 3 6HC
-
Hello
I Have the Duet 3 6HC with a raspberry pi in SBC mode. Everything worked well until i accidently erased the firmware on my duet. For some reason I can't upload a new Firmware. I tried to flash it with the raspberry over ssh. I used Bossa but the responce was "Unkwown device at tty/ACM0". After that i tried to install Bossa on my pc. When I connected the duet to my PC, it's recognised as "Bossa Programming Port(COM5)". I can read the flash with the programm but i can't write anything. The Bossa programm gets stuck whenever i try to write anything. The responce that i get is "Writing Page 0 (0%)". No matter how long i leave the programm running, it won't progress. i even tried diffrent versions of the "Duet3Firmware_MB6HC.bin".
How can upload a Firmware again and acces my printer with the DWC?PS: sorry I couldn't change the topic to FIrmware installation.

Can you give bossa a try again?

How did you manage to erase the firmware accidentally? Did you remove the erase jumper?
You'll need a good quality USB cable. Try different cables and ports.

When flashing firmware, the microcontroller on the 6HC is unfortunately rather fussy about the type of USB cable and USB port. So try a different USB cable, and/or a different USB port on the PC.
