LASER Filament sensor issues still haunting me
-
I have my printer with dual extruders...
I am performing trial prints to check if all is well but I am still encountering issues...I have the following in Config;-
M591 D0 P6 C"e0stop" R1:600 E3 S1
M591 D1 P6 C"e1stop" R1:600 E3 S1I am trying to print with Extruder 1
as soon as I try a print, I get an error that I do not have No Filament in extruder 0
I cancel and resume...I get an error that I do not have filament in Extruder 1
My Question 1 ;- Why do I get an error connected with extruder 1 when I am working with extruder 0 ?
I put filament in the extruder 1 just enough to activate the filament present microswitch
the machine still pauses and tells me there is no filament in Extruder 0 again.
the error related to extruder 1 is not present any more. Looks like whether I am using extruder 0 or extruder 1, filament must be present in both extruders. Is this correct?I try to print and still the machine does continue to bring the error for extruder 1...
Then I push the command;- M591 D0 P5 C"e0stop" R1:600 E3 S1 ( No filament present micro-switch) machine works.This is sending me crazy... Can anybody suggest some tests i can do?
Note that when I switch on the machine, the LED flash correctly as described ....

What firmware version?
If you disable the filament sensor that is not currently in use, does it still complain?

@phaedrux
I have firmware version 3.
I will try what you suggest, however will take a day or two as I have taken the controller off to complete the case... -
