Duet3D PCB delta printer effector sneak preview
-
The details are still being finalised, but it looks like the price for the effector + carriage adapters + heatsink + connector kit will be £45 + shipping + VAT if applicable. My best guess on availability is the end of next week or the beginning of the following week.
-
The prices from the Duet3d web shop are now confirmed as follows, all excluding shipping and VAT where applicable:
Effector, carriage adapters, connector kit and heatsink £45
Accessories:
E3Dv6 hot end kit 12V or 24V less heatsink and temperature sensor £30
Thermistor temperature sensor £4.50
PT100 temperature sensor £12.50
Set of 6 Haydn Huntley 360mm arms with Delrin ends and 12 ball studs £65
Additional set of 12 ball studs £12All the accessories are standard E3D or Haydn Huntley parts, so those outside the UK may prefer to obtain them from a local distributor.

David
Any idea when we will be able to order them as they don't appear to be in the store yet.
Prices are more than reasonable IMHO.

Hi David,
Any idea when we will be able to place orders?
-
what kind of sensor does effector use for autobed?
-
what kind of sensor does effector use for autobed?
It's a strain gauge that detects a minute flexing of the PCB.
-
Any news when it's going on the store David?

Is the effector populated including the strain gauges?
-
what will be shipping price for eu?
-
will you sell the set of Haydn Huntley's rod without the ballstud ?
-
@Alexander:
Is the effector populated including the strain gauges?
The effector PCB is fully populated and tested. You just need to mount the ball studs and hot end on it.
-
will you sell the set of Haydn Huntley's rod without the ballstud ?
That's not up to me, but it's not planned. What are your reasons for wanting the rods without the ball studs, given that the effector and carriages are designed to suit the ball studs?
-
Any news when it's going on the store David?
It will be in the store when it is in stock. I'm not involved with the web store, but I am told that making it available to pre-order would be an extra complication.
-
Ahhhh ok, I'll have to keep checking the store
-
We'll make an announcement on this forum when they are in stock.
-
Really looking forward to this
Will order everything I need as soon as the pcb kit is in stock Pcb kit, e3d hotend, duet ethernet, 5" paneldue.
Only missing heatbed, heatspreader, glass and zesty nimble

does it possible to mount titan extruder on it?

does it possible to mount titan extruder on it?
It's not designed for that. IMO a standard Titan would be too heavy for a delta anyway, it weighs about 260g. If you want to use a direct drive extruder on a delta, you need one with much smaller motor.
