So my wiring is exactly like the image on the documentation
https://docs.duet3d.com/manual/sensors/sensors_probe_bltouch_d2we.png
Why no voltage on the output though if it's config issue? Is it a PWM signal?

It just doesn't make a difference to the value in the Z column.
You're unlikely to see any change displayed in DWC since the BLTouch triggers and instantly resets itself. Your best bet to see if it's functioning is to follow this guide: https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Connecting_hardware/Z_probe_testing

@ageis Can you issue the commands that deploy and retract?
-
@fcwilt
Thats just it, I can. Thats what's got me confused.When I issue M280 P0 S10 it extends and the led switches off.
When I issue M280 P0 S90 it retracts and the led turns on.
confused!
Just no response on the output. I have buzzed out the black and white wires. Just in case it's my dodgy crimping but they seem fine.
-
@ageis That leaves a bad input or the wrong input? Quadruple check you are connected to the correct pin and using the correct pin name.
-
Does M401 and M402 work to deploy and retract?
Have you actually tried a G30 to see if it deploys the pin and trigger the pin by hand to see if it stops movement?
-
@Phaedrux
both M401 and 402 does nothing. but M280 P0 S10 and M280 S90 works.I noticed the pin doesn't get deployed when executing G30 or a G28.
It should deploy the pin when I do a G30 right? -

Then your deployprobe.g and retractprobe.g either haven't been created or don't contain the correct commands. Or maybe they aren't in the right spot. They should be in the sys folder.
-
@ageis I seem to recall that for the M commands to work you need to create two files deployprobe.g and retractprobe.g and put the appropriate servo command into the file.
-
@fcwilt
Yeah I skipped that step by mistake. Rushing through things yet again. I never learn.It works now.
Many Thanks to @fcwilt and @PhaedruxThe bltouch appears to be repeatable so far. The 5 trigger height measurments I did were all +/- 0.1mm of each other.
My chinese sister invented a good product. I believe the engineer that invented the BL TOuch was female and chinese. Unless the picture i saw was just a representive. I hope I can finally get a consistent first layer. Not 0.3mm on one side then barely anything on the other side.
