@fcwilt No I didn't, I made sure.

Then the next thing I would suspect was the crimps themselves.

@fcwilt I made sure of continuity as well. And the board is outputting around 1.5 Volts to the fan. Is there any way to know if the board is shorted?

Check the fan fuse.
Do you see any damage to the small mosfet chips near the fan outputs?

How did you make sure?

None of the fans I use will run on 1.5 volts.
They are either 12 volt or 24 volt fans and need something near to those voltages to work.
What PWM setting are you using to test them?

Here are some images, they don;t look damaged to me.

Far too blurry for me to be able to tell.

@phaedrux If it is shorted, are there any solutions?

I just tested each fan by (1) disconnecting it from the Duet board in my Ender 5 Plus and (2) connecting it to the TH3D EZBoard V2 in my Ender 5 Pro. Each fan worked when connected to the TH3D EZBoard V2 in my Ender 5 Pro. Does this confirm that (1) I didn't short any of the Ender 5 Plus fans and (2) therefore didn't short the Duet board?

Is this photo any better?

What voltage is showing between the fan positive pins? The Duet switches the fans on the negative side, so there should be VIN present on those pins. Be very careful not to short the pins when testing.
The mosfets look ok visually, but they don't always fail catastrophically.

@tratoon Have you updated the firmware, eg from RRF v2 to RRF v3? That would also knock out the fans (as well as other things). Send M115 (for hardware and firmware version) and post response, and post your config.g.
