Thermistor,PT100, PT1000

Hello,
My english is not perfect sorry, I read many post and I search on the Duet web site for read temperature on the nozzle and the bed.
I have toolboard v1.0 and Duet 3mb 6hc.
I need a thermistor pt100 or pt1000 please?
Because when I bought the extruder, it is sold with thermistor Semitec 104NT-4-R025H42G it is 100K.
The bed Keenovo it is sold with NTC 100k.Another question when I configure the firmware with rrf config tool what can I need to choose in the menu because there is five section with some choice.
Thank you very much

I think I understand your request.
Sometimes it is easier to create the base config in rrf, then change it later by editing config.g
This is my config for the Keenovo heated mat
M308 S0 P"temp0" Y"thermistor" A"Heated Bed" T100000 B3950 ; configure sensor 0 as thermistor on pin temp0 M950 H0 C"out0" T0 ; create bed heater output on out1 and map it to sensor 0 ;M307 H0 B0 S1.00 ; disable bang-bang mode for the bed heater and set PWM limit M307 H0 R0.853 C250.9 D5.98 S0.60 ; tuned to 50degrees - 28/3/21 M140 H0 ; map heated bed to heater 0 M143 H0 S120 ; set temperature limit for heater 0 to 120C
I will see if I can find the other post about the PT100 / PT1000

I believe understand I need RTD interface board with MAX31865 chip on the Duet 3 for the bed because the NTC 100K is in the silicone of bed.
And now in the rff config tool I need chose in the between this four elements.
But I don't know which chooses.
And For the toolboard I need one PT1000.
What do you think?
-
@auré pt100 are not supported on the toolboard. So it's either a standard thermistor or a pt1000
-
@jay_s_uk Hi Jay, thanks I bought a PT100 Daughter Board for the Duet 3 because the NTC 100K is in the silicone of Keenovo and I search a pt1000 for my extruder.
Do you know where to connect the PT100 Daughter Board on the Duet 3 ?
-
@auré Your bed (NTC 100k) and hot end (Semitec 104NT-4-R025H42G) temperature sensors are both thermistors, though slightly different. Both are supported by Duet and RepRapfirmware.
Use these settings for your bed thermistor:
M308 S0 P"temp0" Y"thermistor" T100000 B3950 ; configure sensor 0 as thermistor on pin temp0
Settings for your hot end:
M308 S1 P"temp1" Y"thermistor" T100000 B4725 C7.06e-8 ; configure sensor 1 as thermistor on pin temp1
You can change to a PT100 or PT1000 if you want, see this page for a comparison of temperature sensors: https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Temperature_sensors
For a PT100 (which you don't have) you do need a daughterboard.Ian

@auré NTC 100K is a thermistor, NOT a PT100

@droftarts Thank you I test tomorrow If I can, and I tell you the result

Hello, so I have this on my config.g but the toolboard don't see the thermistor
M308 S1 P"121.temp0" Y"thermistor" T100000 B4138 ; configure sensor 1 as thermistor on pin 121.temp0
M950 H1 C"121.out0" T1 ; create nozzle heater output on 121.out0 and map it to sensor 1
M307 H1 B0 S1.00 ; disable bang-bang mode for heater and set PWM limit
M143 H1 S280 ; set temperature limit for heater 1 to 280CI have chek the thermistor with a multimeter and it's ok
-
I found this
I change a command line with:
M308 S1 P"121.temp0" Y"thermistor" T100000 B4725 C7.06e-8
But don't work
-
Can you send M115 and M115 B121 and confirm that the firmware version on both the mainboard and toolboard match?
-
-
@auré you're running out of sync firmware. Try running M997 B121

M997 B121
Ok I send M997 B121:
The thermistore not work
I would like stop the fan and I have new error:
-
For the fan I found this post
I add F1:
M563 P0 D0 H1 F0 F1 ; define tool 0
And now the fan control work.
But not the thermistor.I don't know why but now the thermistor on the toolboard work.....
I have only add F1

@auré post your full config and send M115 B121 to confirm 3.2.2 is on the toolboard

Looks like he is now.
Full config.g would be nice.

I post tomorrow the config.g thank you for your help good night
