All Drivers give me disconnected reported by driver
-
Hey there,
i got my Duet 1.03 Wifi form a friend a few days ago and now trying to get it to run.
The problem is all Drivers report :
"Warning: motor phase A may be disconnected reported by driver(s)
Warning: motor phase B may be disconnected reported by driver(s)"
when i try to move them.
Iam running "RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet version 2.04"
I tested everything from changing Motors to changing the connections from AABB to ABAB and BAAB.
nothing is working.M112:

Chances are the error message is telling you exactly what's wrong. The motor phases are incorrect.
First you should identify the motor phase pairs and wire them accordingly.
If you've identified the pairs and are sure you have them wired correctly you can do further troubleshooting.
-
Ofc i did. As said i first did it like it is supposed to be. It didnt work. And then i tried like everything else possible.
-
Does it still report the error on all drivers with only 1 motor connected?
-
Short answer is: it reports it anytime. Dont matter if something is connected or not.
-
Did it work correctly for your friend before they gave it to you?
-
atleast he said i did. he is trustworthy. thats the only reason i try to get it to run and not discard it already.

What are the specs of the motors you're trying to use?

you are running 0.8A motors with 1.4A.
-
@Veti theyx running fine on this current. on the back, they got written 2.4A. Before i run them also with 1.4 and all was fine. they are pretty beefy
-
then you posted the wrong spec sheet.
do you have a motor of different make that you can test?
