Ok Works now, so one thing left, I got an Microswitch as Z-Probe Conected to E0,Test shows that is Triggered with a Value of 1000 an untriggered 0.If i use the Delta Calibriation ist does not Realize that the Siwtch is triggered,So whats wrong with him?An why Z-Probe in the WebInterface shows 2 Different Colors i ill play around with the TiggerValue for Z-Probe if i use 0-1000 its Red when Triggered und 1001-1024 is shows Yellow.

To finish off this thread. I rewired the leads from the Power supply to the duetwifi and duex5. Used the 12 volt connections from the atx female connector attached to the atx male connector from the PS and then some PCIe 12 volt lines for the bed and finished it off by attaching another 12volt plug to the sata / molex ports on the PS. The 5vsb remained for powering the DuetWifi.

After that cleanup work and using additional 12v connections to the PS, everything is stable now and working as expected. 12v readings never dip below 11.5 and rarely go below 11.6/7 when printing, the bed is on and the hot end is on. I'd call this done.

The only reamining issue is the part cooling fan that surges based on the requested fan %. The higher the percent, the shorter the interval between surging. A quick M106 F200 clears it up though.

I figured I could post here my question regarding the bltouch smart setup on my duet WiFi.

I am not using the duex, I followed instruction from the betrue blog, compared them with the ones here and can’t seem to get it working. I’ve cut the little logic strip to make it 3.3v. It’s setup on my #7 heater.
When I fire up my board the bltouch does its double pin down/up but after that I can’t get the probe to deploy or move using the M280 P7 S10 I1. The red light on the BlTouch is constantly on (can’t seem to find what that means on their instructions).

Any ideas/suggestions?

Well i've switched it to heater 3 and it seems to be working fine. Perhaps is there a bug? The only thing i've changed is the P7 to P3 in my retract and deploy.

I'm guessing you unbound heater pin 3, but were originally using heater pin 7. Glad it's working.

Is the DueX5 definitely getting VIN power?

Does the Settings General page of DWC mention the DueX5?

Does M122 list the status of 10 drives, or only 5?

Yep, happened to me.

One cause of a large offset is that you are homing Z using an endstop switch, and the endstop position assumed when the switch is triggered is not accurate.

If the switch is a Z Max switch, the M208 S0 Z parameter should be set to the height at which it triggers. If the switch is a Z Min switch, use a G92 Znnn command in homez.g and homeall.g to define that position.

The resistor is to help you test the daughter board if you have any problems.

You're not alone. I've had to hold a print out if the wiring diagram up to the board a couple times to get my head around which pin is which.

EDIT so just checked against my sample units which are the same sensor but in a 10mm cartridge (production units are 20mmx3mm cartridge) a Precision Piezo PT1000 sensor thermally connected to a type K thermocouple probe at 20.0 degC has a resistance of 1071 Ohms. Product page updated. Good catch.

Use the calculator at http://reprapfirmware.org/ to find the speed at which motor torque will start to fall.

I'm glad you managed to fix it. Is it a genuine bltouch or a clone?

It's supposedly the real deal. I contacted Antclabs but got no reply. I guess I could try the Google+ group. They might be active there.

The stepper drivers are rated at 30V. If you move the stepper motors by hand or command them to decelerate rapidly then they act as generators and feed power back into the supply rail, increasing the voltage. That's why we specify 25V maximum VIN input.

One option for you is to use a 27V supply but connect 3 silicon rectifier diodes (e.g. 1N5400) between the PSU V+ output and the VIN+ terminal of the Duet, to reduce the voltage at the Duet to about 24V. Then connect your bed heater between V+ from your power supply and the Bed- output of the Duet, leaving Bed+ not connected, so that the bed heater gets the full 27V.

If you change the bed heater to a 400W one then you can safely run it at 17A through the Duet, but in that case I suggest you use a fan to cool the Duet PCB.

So I used this tool here: https://configurator.reprapfirmware.org/

I made sure to customize it as closely as possible to what we need (mainly making sure to set the coordinates to Cartesian), and then uploaded the generated zip to the Duet. We ended up having some communication problems, so we redid the steps and had to disable DHCP and enable static IP. After this, it worked!

We are now able to send individual X Y Z commands and it moves the appropriate motor by itself, so it seems your suggestions was spot on! Thank you

M115 will tell you what firmware version you are running; or just look at the Settings General page of DWC.

The Z movement presets are deliberately different from XY because you need greater resolution on Z.

Under what conditions does the effector stop 6" above the bed? Have you set P500 in your G31 command?

Many years ago I thought about getting a ham radio license, but so far I haven't.
