@dc42 The frequency does not have to be high, it is simply a rheological control of the force needed to extrude/compress a given material.
We use this load cell at the moment with good results:

The IO0.in is being used in the syringe empty end detection at this moment, but we could do without it or replace it with the IO3 endstop pins, so both IO0.in and IO0.out would become available.

So physically we could connect the amplifier board the way you suggest but I don't know is whether we will be able to modify the firmware of the 1LC board.

@bubblehead Hi, i have the exact same hotend and machine, and am now having the same issue. I then upgraded to 3.0 and would like to revert back to factory firmware - where did you get the original firmware? Can you supply a link please. Thank You!

@droftarts yes, the thermistor was a mistake - in fact, I seem to have the wrong sensors everwhere (PT100's in the mainboard TEMP, thermistor in the daughterboard). 😞
Fixed now, but frustrating...

I've insalled a 560 Ohm resistor on the SDO Port. Now it works.

@hrkrx yes you could remove the regulator IC and use external 5V power.

@axiom the configuration tool provides a basic setup; it can’t configure complex setups. For that, you will need to configure RRF for your specific machine.

As you controlling the beds individually with Solid state relays, these take very little current to operate, and can usually be controlled by any output pin. Though if you want PWM control, you’ll need to use a heater or fan output. Then you can setup the heated beds for individual control. Alternatively, you can combine the temperature sensors into one sensor; the reported temperature will be averaged across the sensors. See https://docs.duet3d.com/User_manual/Connecting_hardware/Temperature_connecting_thermistors_PT1000#using-multiple-temperature-sensors-for-a-single-heater

I was using pin 62 to activate the switch.
If i have the M950 command in the config file written like this.
M950 P62 C"spi.cs7"
(is that correct, would that configure pin 62?)

Then a macro file that activated the switch when triggered.

M300 S1222 P444;
M42 P62 S.5

This is how I have it this minute, and it is not correctly working. I am getting an error ( Error:in file macro line 5: M42: 'P' too high )

Once you have created the GPIO port using M950, you then refer to that port using M42 - not the pin number.

@Lo-Fi's design is well suited for fff printers, hopefully you try that. However, you'll have to file a bit until the filament goes really smooth.

@ratrig0331 you can connect a thermistor to e of those io_in ports on the Duet 3 Mini that support analog input. You can use a fan output or io_out port to control a SSR or mosfet switch that controls the filament dryer heater.

From that photo you can see that it's a dot from the stencil on the chip. It looks ok.

You say you've updated the firmware on the board. How did you do that and what firmware did you use?

Does the board respond to commands via USB terminal? Can you send M122 and copy paste the results?

Have you tried setting it up in standalone mode yet?
