not quite any FTP client, there are some limitations in the implementation on the Duet. so if you FTP is problematic try another client.

Didn't work in first try, as when I created a macro file it had no extension and I tried calling it with '.g'.
Is it possible to force it into error state instead of just yielding a warning if the macro doesn't exist?

I went with the custom macro approach, as I guess the start.g macro would be called before the actual print file and then I would miss the option of setting temperature in the slicer.

I made a new directory prefixed with a dot and it had the expected effect of hidding it from the dashboard 🙂

Tool fan is the fan of the selected tool. It makes more sense if you have more than 1 tool.

Where are your M950 commands to create the fan pins? They must come before the M106 commands.

How are you trying to add them and what is happening when you do?

In DWC you should be able to go to the macros section and there are buttons to create folder or file. You can also upload a file from your computer.

2.0.4 is a bit old at this point, perhaps best to update to 2.05.1 and DWC 2.0.7 that comes with that release.

which browser? sounds like a dns issue, but if you're tying in the IP then that doesn't make sense.

in any case verify the index.htm.gz file is in /www on the sd card with M20 P/www either on the PanelDue console or usb serial console.

Ah, yes... I've been putting off the jump to firmware V3, as everything is working so smoothly now (isn't that how it goes!). I guess I need to make the leap eventually anyway.

lite or not shouldn't make a difference, they do have different dates for some reason - but both images seems to have functional SPI.

Editing a 20MB file with Opera (chromium based browser) on Win10 works fine. Just "slow" download from Duet board 🙂

I think that 311832 is in pages, so at 4k pages, that's 1.2GB of total VM usage? Well over the actual ram of the Pi and into swap. Is DWC expected to use so much memory?

If you look in the RRF release notes, you will find the recommended compatible version of DWC for each release. Other versions may work, but that is not guaranteed.
