Regarding removing the 3M 468MP, do not try IPA. The heater I purchased came with this already fitted by mistake, so I first tried IPA. What a horrible gooey mess. I resulted in a scrapper and rubbing with my fingers. It took a few hours, but had to be done

For fitting my heater mat and PEI, I've purchased a small roller just for this job;

@CNCModeller I wanted to reply that it would help to sand the acrylic surface, but you've beaten me with the laser etching method.
I found acrylic sheets crack much faster than polycarbonate, which is also CO2-cuttable.
But I'm not sure how well it deals with warping. (both materials actually...)

@redax27 Understood. After ruling out quite a lot of potential reasons for the nozzle to block filament flow, I’m really out of ideas. Maybe @Phaedrux or some other champ can step in?

Thanks for your help , I finally had the time to go back to the printer and check all the wires and YES there was a wire that was loose, so when the table moves to the corner it get disconnected, that's the reason stop working, I checked it many times I missed it.

Let see if now I can print at least the benchy 😂😂😂

this pump is not a brushed motor its a modern consumer electronics PC cooling pump. to be confident this morning i used an Oscilloscope and external power supply to monitor startup current of this pump, and it has a slow linear increase from zero to 0.475 amps over about 0.5 seconds. I'm ok with this and willing to take that risk running it on the Duet 3 Mini 5+.

i would like to add the large fan, and it has about a 140% startup power draw to 0.355 amps, and stablizes at 0.295 amps. both devices together pump and fan i think i am safe to use them on 12 volt.

Ah ok so the problem was that I forgot to declare the second Z stepper and only mapped it, and I got turned around wiring the motors and endstops and had to reverse a few things. I also was taught that the whining noise is normal and can be stopped with "stealth chop" by putting D3 V40 after the drive declaration. I.E. M569 P0.0 S1 D3 V40

@gabbie other brands are available. Search for "adhesive thermal barrier tape".

@dc42 Now that I know this, some things are clear to me, since I was wondering why my whole printer is shaking only when printing infills like gyroid, eventhough I am using input shaping and quite conservative accelerations. Are there any major improvements planned on the input shaping front in the upcoming updates? From what I've read from the users using both Duet/RRF and Klipper - Klipper still has a bit of an edge over RRF with input shaping....
