@gloomyandy had the right pick. Changing Cura's notion of the wipe position to x=230 makes it go back and forth between 230 and 250 --- which is what is desired. Documentation is a bit of a problem for Cura ... welll ... that and complexity.

@Simone I've updated the calibration macro again, so this time it actually works correctly! @OwenD was kind enough to point out the error in my maths, which gave NaN results in some circumstances, and checked that it now gives correct answers. @Freddy thanks. At 2A fan cooling of the Duet 2 is recommended. At 1.6A it's not normally needed.

At some point I put that script in there as well. I didnt realize Stop.g gets called at the end of every job now.

I tried following your suggestion, and the results for the first and second layers were very good. However, starting from the third layer, I feel that the step distance for each layer along the Z-axis is too large, likely more than 0.2 mm.

This is strange because the issue suddenly appeared after I adjusted the Z-offset once, and it only occurs with this one printhead, while the others work normally.

The M671 command being in the wrong place was indeed the issue. I also had to adjust the maximum allowable correction to 2mm. Thanks again for pointing that, it would have taken me a while to find it.

@droftarts Thanks for the guidance. Thats unfortunate that no one has done it yet, but once I manage to convert my machine I will share it with you so other people can use the configuration without the hustle.

@o_lampe I need to run a minimum jerk of 10 in order to print radials smoothly. I find it could come into play at short corner moves... That or even a way to reduce jerk on short moves. I doubt IS would fix it, as you say.

Then again my only remaining issue with resonance is on the Y axis. I believe it is due to a tiny amount of belt stretch, as this is a big printer.

That's easy enough to say, the change lists are sometimes quite long. Unless you have something in mind or it happens to pop in your head while "browsing" through those lists that something might affect you...

Basically, you don't know, what you don't know.

In any case, your pointer was right and I was able to sort it out.
