I am using the standby temp fields by setting them up using gcode. In the example below, my print has 0 hours and 5 minutes to complete (based on slicer's estimation).

Another option you have is to use gcode to print messages and watch them in the console.

I believe the currents can be set in 100 mA increments so 100 and 200 are both possible, 150 would round down iirc.

Yes you would need a common ground between the 24V and 12V PSUs. You can add a ground wire between them is there isn't one already.
