I think you can configure the thermistor and a thermostatic fan like it's done for a hotend fan.

M308 Sm P"temp? " Y"thermistor" T100000 B4725 C7.06e-8 ; define thermistor 'm' M950 Fn C"fan?" Q500 ; create fan 'n' M106 Pn T40 Hm ; switch on fan 'n' by reading thermistor 'm'

@Kiryl I am sorry that your EXP1HCL board appears to have a problem reading the encoder. Please send a short email to warranty@duet3d.com and include a link to this thread. You will receive a reply with a link to a form to fill in.

Update your firmware with the Pi terminal.

Then check the firmware versions for the boards again afterwards to see if they have been udpated.
