@Phaedrux Sorry, its a setting in YAT. It is connected now, fingers crossed it stays that way!

RE: Duet 2 wifi not connecting to Paneldue 7i
@Phaedrux I don't know what they are. I changed my terminal type from binary to text, and it's connected now. Previously I had to change it the other way for it to work...not sure what the correct setting is for that.

RE: Duet 2 wifi not connecting to Paneldue 7i
I turned the machine on today, and it seems like I turned back the clock 2 weeks. The same thing is happening, not connecting to Wifi. I've run through the same cycles which fixed it last time, no luck. I ran M997 S1, and it re-installed the firmware fine. Then ran M552 S0, OK. Then M552 S1, OK. Then M587 S"xx" P"xx", and it says OK, then times out and says wifi module is idle. My computer is connected to the same network and is connected no problem. I double-checked the password and it's correct.
What am I doing wrong?

Thanks all!! Everything is now working with the exception of a Z homing issue, which I think I can (hopefully :)) figure out. Have a great weekend!

@dc42 Thank you! I made the change and now it's speaking to the Paneldue. Still no luck with the wifi tho

RE: Duet 2 wifi not connecting to Paneldue 7i
The MCU temp should read close to room temp, which is 69 deg F, any ideas why this reading? Also, I'm feeding in 24v (which I've checked and is correct), so no idea why it's reading 16v.

RE: Duet 2 wifi not connecting to Paneldue 7i
I put the M552 S"Network" P"Password" in, and it says "ok", but doesn't give me the IP address...

Duet 2 wifi not connecting to Paneldue 7i
A screw fell onto the motherboard and blew the fuses. I purchased a replacement board and Paneldue from CapstoneCADEM. After installing both boards the paneldue says "connecting" and doesn't control anything. It also will not connect to wifi. I tried everything I could find on the forum, M552 S1 finds the network, then says " no known networks found", then continues in the same order to loop. I've reflashed the firmware, replaced the cable, no luck. The bad part is I have work mounding up - please somebody help!!

RE: Duet2 Wifi Driver 3 overheat issue
Thanks very much for the quick response! I'm struggling with the mapping, I'm getting a whole string of errors relating to a "non-existent tool". Also, Drive 3 (the bad one) still gets hot. The board has several spare drives because I'm using the breakout extender board. I only have one extruder, which is plugged into Heater 0, Drive 4. Here is what I have:
M569 P0 R-1 ; Drive 0 disabled
M569 P1 R-1 ; Drive 1 disabled
M569 P2 R-1 ; Drive 2 disabled
M569 P3 R-1 ; Drive 3 disabled
M569 P4 S1 ; Extruder goes forwards
M569 P5 T2 ; 2 microsecond minimum step pulse width for x-axis
M569 P6 T2 ; 2 microsecond minimum step pulse width for y-axis
M569 P7 T2 ; 2 microsecond minimum step pulse width for z-axis
M584 X5 Y6 Z7 E4 ; Apply custom drive mapping (X=Drive5, Y=Drive6, Z=Drive7, E4-Extruder1)What am I doing wrong?

Duet2 Wifi Driver 3 overheat issue
I have Duet2 Wifi, and accidently disconnected an extruder motor while the control box was on. I plugged it back in, and now it gives an error message that driver 3 detected a temperature overload, and the driver chip next to the extruder motor plug instantly gets incredibly hot, and has what looks like melted spots. I unplugged the motor, and one by one the heater, fan, thermistor, but it still does the same thing, and will not turn. I tried plugging in other motors, and the result is the same. I checked the wiring, it all looks OK. Any help would be appreciated!!

Correct config.g for 1 extruder with 3 heaters
Hello All,
I'm a newbie, technical background, but new to electronics and code. I am struggling to set up a high-output extruder which has 1 stepper drive and 3 heaters along the length of the nozzle. The Duet2 has a breakout board which drives X, Y, and Z. I plugged 2 of the heaters into E0 and E1 heater terminal blocks and 2 Dyze high-temp sensors into E0 and E1 VSSA thermistors. I have attempted to add an adafruit max31865 to the board temp daughterboard to run the 3rd sensor. I'm not quite sure where to plug the 3rd heater into. I have plugged an external stepper driver (Rtelligent R60) into Drive 4, and the extruder stepper motor into it. On the 2 heaters plugged in I'm getting very low readings, jumping from 2 degrees to 13.8 degrees. The heaters to not follow heat commands from the controller, and the extruder stepper doesn't either. Follows is my config.g, any help/suggestions/criticism would be much appreciated
