Ezabl and deployprobe.g and retractprobe.g
-
Hello I tried a search for it but got nothing could someone give me an example of these 2 files please so i know what is needed keep getting error messages about M208 Ect Ect.
Thank You
Mike

AFAIK the EZABL is just an inductive or capacitive sensor with an interface, and doesn;t need to be deployed or retracted. In which case, you don't need deploy por retract files.
-
Thank You for quick reply question though if they are not in the Sys folder SD card i get error that they can not be found so could you give me the commands for the config.g file to get this error to stop i must have a wrong command or something i also get alot of errors about skipped readings from probe is there a way to get it read the probe quicker or something

No error message is generated if deployprobe.g and retractprobe.g are not present when they are invoked implicitly. Are you invoking them explicitly using M98 command in bed.g? If so, delete those commands.
also get alot of errors about skipped readings from probe is there a way to get it read the probe quicker or something
What is the exact error message?
-
Can you post your config.g and homing files as well?
What probe type do you have defined in M558?
-
Search my posts and it shows my config for the EZABL.

You need to adjust the M557 to eliminate the warnings. You either need to reduce or increase the max X & Y.

maybe so but my printer bed is 235 x 235 and i have watched it probe and it is still over the bed when the errors occur so a bit confused.
-
@mringersoll are you sure you have the signs right in your g31? Is the 0,0 origin point in the front left corner? If not you may have an axis direction flipped.
The X-46 in your g31 doesn't seem to add up with the x values from your m208 and m557.
-
@mringersoll
The issue is the offset of your probe. I have a ezabl and I have to tell it to probe a smaller area because the nozzle would have to travel outside the bed. For example my probe is +48x I have to tell it I want to probe +50 to + 250 on my cr10 otherwise I get that error. (Technically I could probe out to +300, but I'm trying to make it even. I'm guessing your offset isn't allowing you to reach +188. -
ok I am really getting frustrated here my bed is 235 x 235 offset of probe by Marlin settings X - 46 Y - 11 so can you please give me some settings to try Please so offsets are the same in RepRap just very confused and getting to the point of giving up on this Duet Ender 3 project.

This may be an error. I'm not sure what m258.5 does.
; Axis Limits
M208 X-5.5 Y-5.5 Z0 S1 ; Set axis minima
M258.5 X245 Y245 Z255 S0 ; Set axis maximaTry replacing with
M208 X0 Y0 Z0 S1 ; Set axis minima
M208 X235 Y235 Z255 S0 ; Set axis maximaI'm not sure if you meant to add the extra travel or not. When you zero x/y is the nozzle over the bed?
