Delta printer recommendation with Duet2

Hello there,
well, I am not sure where to post this so if a moderator would be kind enough to move it in the correct category if it is bothering.
Since I finished my CoreXY machine recently I thought about building a Delta. Can some of the Delta Owners point me in the right direction where I can find information about "state of the art" Deltas?
I am basically looking for a reliable workhorse which allows for functional printing at a reasonable speed, for configuration-consistency in my little printfarm I would very much love to drive it with a Duet2 board.

I have a Duet controlled Kossel Mini that I built some years back using a kit from T3P3 in the UK. It's gone through some iterations but is printing nicer than ever now. Currently using an e3d v6 hot end and a Bondtech BMG extruder. Heated bed. It's compact and very quiet. I slung the Duet underneath.

At the moment, I have two Deltas containing Duet boards. And, yes, they are my "workhorses".
- An Anycubic Kossel Linear that was converted. Details of conversion here (this is part 1, there are 7 parts)

I'm certainly no delta expert, but answering some questions might help to point you in a particular direction:
You indicated that you want to build the machine... Do you want to build from a kit where you're handed all the parts in a box and you assemble them, or would you prefer to individually source different parts from different vendors, cut them to size (if needed), etc?
What do you consider a "reasonable speed"? As well, what level of quality are you expecting at that "reasonable speed"?
What kinds of materials do you expect to print? In particular, are you wanting to print flexible filaments?
What are you expectations in regards to differences between a delta and a coreXY?
