Smart Effector Calibration Issue

Hi,
Haven't had the opportunity to scope out the bed-heater MOSFET firing all the time. I'll get to it, in the mean time, I have been trying to calibrate the SE (Smart Effector) probe with varying results. Each time I run the calibration sequence, the nozzle hits the table. The only thing I can think of that could cause the 'zero' point to move, might be the fact that AnyPubic Kossel Lineral Plus employs plastic sliders and the spring belt tensioners. Now I really think that the plastic slider (four screws to the linear rail bearings, through the SE ball mount PCBs at the top of the Hayden rod-arms), I believe that they are actually problem, but those springs might the cause. Each time they give a little so the readings are incorrect and then the nozzle hits the table, or maybe I don't understand something. As I understand things the moment the SE probe triggers, it should command the stepper-motor motion to stop. Re; using an external SSR as a work-around, I've got one on the way from my friends over at Auber Inst. They are good guys.
So, now I'm in the market for the metal sliders, but most of the parts that I have been finding, rely on the those belt springs to tighten the belt. Somewhere in the past, I saw a slider that employs a bolt that pushes against a small toothed belt-block which tightens the belt. I think that could be a solution.
Anyone know where I may find one of those metal sliders? Or perhaps some one would be so kind to recommend a metal slider which mounts on the DC42 top Haydan four bolt pattern PCB. : 0 So far, I've checked Amazon, eBay and RobotDigg, UltiBots, FilaStruder and a new supplier I found in Philadelphia, Printed-Solid, they sell many quality and hard to find parts.

That could simply mean that your delta radius is a long way out and you don't have the dive height (M558 H parameter) set high enough to probe safely under those conditions.

I try not to ask questions about subjects that are available on the 'Net via a bit of looking around, however the matter regarding 'delta-radius' is one with which I am having trouble to understand. It seems simple, but what is delta-radius and how does one measure it in a constructed printer? I am including a glyph that I found on the RepRap website. The 'radius' call-out...is that the delta-radius that I need measure?

yes the radius in that diagram is indeed the delta radius you need it doesn't have to be exact just in the right ball park the critical measurement is the rod length then if you use 6 or 8 factor calibration the others including the delta radius will be tuned for you?

What is your dive speed set to?
I had issues with the configuration tool generating gcode where the dive speed was too low, instead of probing normally it would just slowly lower the nozzle into the bed without triggering the smart effector.
Once I corrected the gcode to the one found on the wiki it calibrated properly.
