I'm Now On 5MHz Network, How Do I Use The Duet?

Just moved to a new apartment building, and the 2.5mhz connection was failing, so they set it up with a 5mhz connection instead, but my DuetWiFi won't connect to it, and I can't figure out how to control it.
What do I do?

So I just paid several hundred dollars for nothing.

One option is to get a Raspberry Pi3, which has wireless built in. You can get a 5GHz USB WiFi module and set it up as a WiFI to WiFi router and connect the DuetWiFi that way. Granted, not ideal but functional and fairly cost effective.

One option to use the Duet in access point mode. that way you can connect to the Duet WiFi network at 2.4Ghz and control it directly. Alternatively you can get Wifi network repeaters - I have not checked if there are ones that will repeat a 5Ghz network to 2.4Ghz

Normally 5GHz AP's allow you to setup a 2.4GHz SSID besides your 5.0GHz networks

I'll have to check with the ISP to see if dual networks is an option. Generally, we don't get to manage routers in an apartment building.
How to Duet Ethernet owners manage their prints? I need to do two things: adjust the probe height offset, and print.

Your quickest option is probably just this.
It'll turn the duet into a wifi network you connect to directly to access the DWC.

I've gone and organised to have both the 2.4G and 5G network accessible.

Is the SSID of the 24GHz network exactly EVE 22802 ? It looks like you are using Pronterface or a similar host program that converts all characters to upper case.
You can send M587 with no parameters to see what networks are stored in the WiFi module, and check that one of them matches the SSID of your 2.4GHz network exactly.

I use Pronterface yes, because I had connected to it earlier once before, on a different home network. I don't remember it having a problem with the casing on the SSID. Is it a problem?

You don't normally need to assign an IP address, if you leave it as all zeros then the Duet will ask the router to assign it one using DHCP.
When you use your smartphone or tablet to display available wifi networks, does it show NETGEAR15 and EVE 22802 all in uppercase, exactly as M587 does? What signal strengths does the smartphone or tablet display for those networks, in the vicinity of your printer?

NETGEAR15 was at my folk's house where I used to be completely set up and operational.
Eve 22802 is where I am now, and it's 100% reception for all devices, and all able to connect. The other devices see the networks as case sensitive. I think the Netgear SSID was in caps from memory. So that's different.

*EDIT: I'm in. It took me a while to figure out the command steps in the start up guide, and the invisible commands there after, but got through it and now it's assigned and IP address and connecting. Now I can see that the bed is also running a 2000degs, which must of come lose when transporting.
