Drivers phase A may be disconnected, phase B may be disconnected

This is a Duet 2 WIFI Ver 3.5.3 System with a Duex2 expansion board that has worked for years. In the middle of a print the machine just locked up and after that point the machine starts fine but as soon as you try to home or move any motor it give me drive(x) warning: phase A may be disconnected, phase B may be disconnected. Vin is 24 vdc steady all fuses are good. Its seems unlikely that one bad motor or wire issue would cause all drivers to report bad. No clue what to do next,

@aticorpj is it only for the X driver or all drivers?
I would carefully check your motor cables and connectors especially. I had one of mine melt and fail quite spectacularly after many years of use. Once a connector contact or crimp gets dodgy, the resistance goes up and it heats up, then things deform and the cycle gets worse until it fails.If it is all drivers, it may be a short circuit somewhere. I'd be carefully checking for anything that gets warm to the touch when you power the machine on

@aticorpj
I would check that motor wiring for wear/breaks/connector issues. If it's all ok the try swapping X and Y motors (change config.g as well)Apologies I misread what you had written and thought it was the driver for the "X" axis that that the issue. see dc42's reply below!

@aticorpj if you get this when trying to move any motor then I suggest the following:
-
Check that the screws in the VIN terminal blocks of both the Duet and DueX are still tight.
-
If they are, then disconnect the ribbon cable connecting the Duet and DueX, then power up and see whether you still get these errors when you try to move the motors attached to the Duet.
