Assigning multiple cooler fans
-
Hi!
I´m wondering where the cooler fans are assigned to tools. I have a 5 tool toolchanger . Part cooling fans are assigned in the Tools section but can´t find the cooler fans. They work, however.
I have possibly ruined fans from the duet2 wifi board, is it possible to power them from extra heaters I have in duex 5?Board: Duet 2 WiFi (2WiFi)

@pertti Not exactly sure what your question is but part cooling fans are assigned to tools and hot end cooling fans are assigned to heaters (which are then assigned to tools). So hot end cooling fans are indirectly assigned to tools because they are usually controlled thermostatically by the heater that has been assigned to a particular tool. Does that help?

I can not see any fans here in the "Heaters" section.

I prefer to have my hotend fan and part cool fan for each tool separated out like this for example.

@droftarts
Thanks, I need to study my g-codes better. -

Now I got the idea, thanks.
