You'll have to do via the slicer or by editing the gcode file or possibly by using conditional gcode and probably daemon.g. The latter is complicated. If the fan is used as a part cooling fan, then the easiest way is to map that fan to a tool e.g. M563 P0 F3 would map fan 3 to tool 0 then any M106 command in the gcode file will set the speed for fan 3. If the fan is something other than a part cooling fan, then the next easiest way is to open up the gcode file in a text editor such as notepad++, locate the layer that you want the fan to come on at, then add the command M106 P3 Snn (where nn is the speed you want it to run at (0 to 255)).

@norder no that helps thanks I use both super slicer and prusa slicer depending on my needs. The reason for the question is some Prints like pla use cooling and some times need additional cooling so I turn on the towers, but if I run the print over night since I turn them on from the duet control it will run the fans all night until I turn them off in the morning even though the print took a hour ect…
Just one other question is there a timer macro that could be used at the end so when the print finishes run the fan for 5 minutes than turn off?
