@heide I'd say it was very rare. But you can confuse the hell out of it with incorrect configuration!

Can you be more specific about the actual problems? Sharing some additional information would go along way in helping us help you.
Config.g, the results of M122 and M98 P"config.g" would be a good starting point.

@heide RepRapFirmware does a CRC check of the firmware when it starts up. So if the firmware is corrupted, it should refuse to start and flash an error code on the Status or Diag LED instead.
The exception is the firmware on the WiFi module, which doesn't yet have a CRC check.

@dc42 @Phaedrux the reason that I ask is because I have problems with z not homing. I have another tread about that. I have searched alot of answers and @droftarts is helping me with it. And that got me thinking that the FW could be corrupted. But I can understand thats not possible. I have connection with Ethernet, not WiFi.
