G307 parameter Error
-
I am getting a M307 error notification on my heated bed. It is 3 feet x 2 feet, 240 volt, 2160 watt, silicon mesh pad, glued to an 8 mm aluminum plate.
The G307 parameters are:
G307 H1 A346.2 C140 D5.3 B0 S0.5 V23.8
The bed works accurately I believe but I would like to know why I am getting the error.
Thanks in advance,
Dave -
@damaged_goods did you mean M307? There is no G307 command.

When exactly do you get the error?
What firmware version are you using?
Have you recently PID tuned your heater?
Can you share your config.g and the results of sending M122 and M98 P"config.g" ? That may answer some questions. -
@phaedrux question 1: during inital paneldue startup. Bed works fine but I get the error message.
2: Firmware 3.0. I am trying to learn one version before upgrading. I am finding it too confusing for my 64 year old brain
3: I believe so. I am unsure because literally I forget what I have done after walking out the shop door. Refer to answer to question 2.
4: I will post my config .g and the results of sending M122 and M98 P"config.g" shortly.
Here they are:

@dc42 yes sorry I did mean M307

@damaged_goods said in G307 parameter Error:
Firmware 3.0
This may be part of the problem. I think it would be a good idea to upgrade to the latest stable version 3.3 Many fixes since the initial 3.0 release. At the very least maybe some better error messages.
https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/download/3.3/Duet2and3Firmware-3.3.zip
Download that zip file and then upload it to the system folder. This will get you up to date.
You may need to make a change or two to your config.g so please post that and we can give some guidance.

@phaedrux Argh. While waiting for a response I cleaned up my wiring. Something shorted I think. USB power works. 24 volt doesn`t but not the power supply.
Pic below
U2 what does it do and does it looked fried to you? Is it repairable? -
@damaged_goods 3.3v regulator. A relatively easy fix. See https://docs.duet3d.com/User_manual/Troubleshooting/Parts#voltage-regulators-1
