Odd artifact on print
-
Hi all,
So I recently noticed this odd artifact on a print and I'm not sure if it's related to a firmware update or something else.
Printer: E3D Toolchanger
Current firmware: 3.3
Tool: 2.85mm Titan bowden V6
Filament: E3D EdgeThis print was when I first noticed it and what's strange is that only this part on the bed had the issue.
I thought it might be a filament issue, as this was a brand new spool and maybe my setting were off, so today I printed in 2.85mm Filamentum ASA and got the same artifact, not as bad but the model is different. I also watched the print and noticed the printer pausing very briefly on those spots and the filament oozing out while stopped.
Any suggestions?

Have you noticed any popping or crackling noises while printing?
You filament may have absorbed too much moisture.

@rushmere3d If you are operating your printer in SBC mode, consider upgrading to the unstable package feed. There was a bug in v3.3 on some RaspPis causing occasional hangs of the control application that could lead to similar blobs.

Yes I am in SBC mode. I'll take a look at that link.

Managed to downgrade to the stable release but now not 100% confident in the system.
Was getting errors about something not being loaded and then incorrect passwords and then in connected but then error again.
