@user-m_123 it must be also in the path. And the version is newer than the version 8 2018 q4 which I'm using. I don't know whether 10 2020 q4 is compatible.

The build depends on the Eclipse workspace variable ArmGccPath being set to the directory where your arm-none-eabi-g++ compiler resides. For example C:\Program Files (x86)\GNU Tools ARM Embedded\7 2018-q2-update\bin on Windows (see step #1 for which compiler to use). To set it, go to Windows -> Preferences -> C/C++ -> Build -> Build Variables and click "Add..."
It sounds to me that you didn't do that step. The Eclipse project is set up so that Eclipse uses that variable to find the compiler.
