Configuration problems

@dave-parry
Yeah it appears you need to convert your heater and end stops to the proper rrf 3.0+ syntax unless you go to v 2.03/2.05A few things have changed...
M305 is no longer used -
Thanks, I did use the latest config tool so would have thought it would be correct. Will see if I can sort it out.
-
I'm on my phone and can't post my config. But in the post adjacent to yours mentioning print finished.....You can look at my config of the end stops for a refrence
Edit. If you look at the first post config. G you will see I left all of my earlier 2.03 syntax settings and configurations but they are commented out. That was from all of my work converting to the new system and it might prove helpful for you as it has for me. The config. G lower on in the thread is after I did some house cleaning got rid of all of the extraneous lines

Cant seem to get the config correct Keep getting unknown channel.
Old config was
M305 P0 T100000 B3950 R4700 ; set thermistor + ADC parameters for heater 0
M143 H0 S120 ; set temperature limit for heater 0 to 120C
M305 P1 T100000 B4388 R4700 ; set thermistor + ADC parameters for heater 1Have tried various settings
latest one was
M308 S0 P"e0temp" Y"thermistor" T100000 B4725 ; configure sensor 1 as thermistor on pin e0temp
M950 H0 C"e0temp" T0get Error: Temperature reading fault on heater 1: unknown temperature sensor channel
also tried
M308 S0 P"e0temp" Y"thermistor" T100000 B3950 ; define E0 temperature sensor
M950 H0 C"e0heat" T0 ; heater 1 uses the e0heat pin and sensor 1
Error: Temperature reading fault on heater 1: unknown temperature sensor channel -

Error: Temperature reading fault on heater 1: unknown temperature sensor channelYou are showing code for heater 0 but the error is for heater 1.
What is the code for heater 1?

here's the code for both
M308 S0 P"bed_temp" Y"thermistor" T100000 B3950 ; define bed temperature sensor
M308 S1 P"e0temp" Y"thermistor" T100000 B4388 ; define E0 temperature sensor
M950 H0 C"bed_heat" T0 ; heater 0 uses the bed_heat pin, sensor 0
M950 H1 C"e0heat" T1 ; heater 1 uses the e0heat pin and sensor 1Still have error heater 1
both still showing 2000 °CJust changed back to old settings and temps are correct so not a sensor problem.

What do you mean by "changed back to old settings"?

I checked the sensors by removing M308 and M960 lines and put back M305 lines. and the sensor readings were back and correct.

Remember that you have to first go from 2.05.1 to 3.0.0

You now should be able to go to 3.3.0 or (if you ok with betas) to 3.4.x.
