Cad file?

Awesome, do you happen to know if the thickness is correct? The other proportions are good? I'm gonna do some mockups of it with the hotend attached and give us a good baseline for what this looks like in its final state so people can work on custom mods/fans etc. I'm pretty busy at the moment but when things slow down if I make any progress with it I'll share everything publicly.

The thickness was an approximation so that I could extrude it to use it in the drawing module. I can measure mine when I get in and adjust it.

The PCB thickness is 1.6mm

Thanks, I updated the fusion file. There's also a file for the carriage.

carriages are 2mm thick

lol. Carriages updated.

would be great to add the custom heatsink, for fan mount design purpose.
is there any blueprint somewhere ? more specifically for the head of the heatsink, since the core is standard. something like this : http://files.e3d-online.com/v6/Drawings/V6-175-SINK.pdf

I just used the standard e3d model on thingiverse, measured how far down from the bottom of the effector the new heatsink ends, and set the standard model that far through the model. Works well enough.

E3D is going to make this heatsink variant a standard stock item except that they intend to change the thread pitch from 1mm to 1.25mm. So I suggest you ask them.
-
FYI : space between PCB and heatsink body -> 2mm

Carriage - http://a360.co/2v1NnwEthanks again for your models, for now they seems to fit quite well ! next step adding connector and components maybe ?
