jerky movement - mini 5+ v0.4 + SBC 3.2beta3.2

no. I do not currently have a daemon.g file
-
Please run M122 once, then try to reproduce the jerky movement, and run M122 again once you could observe it. Then post the output here.
-
@chrishamm ok.
Will do that once this print finishes -
@jay_s_uk said in jerky movement - mini 5+ v0.4 + SBC 3.2beta3.2:
I'm getting jerky movement on fast non print travel moves.
I can hear that the movements aren't one smooth continuous run.That's usually caused by using G29 bed compensation on an uneven bed with a low Z jerk value, especially when using a fine G29 mesh. You do have a very low Z jerk value in config.g.
-
@dc42 I'll try increasing the speed.
It does happen as part of homing as well and the mesh compensation shouldn't be enabled then -
If the problem persists, please run M122 before doing this type of move (to reset the variables); then run it again after observing this behaviour and post the result here.
-
i've increased my jerk and it seems to have gone
-
I think I had requested the default Z jerk speed to be increased to 60 in the next update to the config tool. That usually seems like it's enough to prevent this issue from happening. 24 is pretty low.

@Phaedrux if I get chance to look at it (or even to remember to) I'll send a pull request in the morning
