Custom DIY Printer Duet Wifi 24V Conversion

Hello. 2 years ago I bought an Anet A8 as a starter printer. Over time I have upgraded pretty much everything (extruder, bearings, aluminum frame) except the stock electronics. I was planning on using my Anet for work related purposes when I noticed that the heat-bed connector on the main board started to melt when trying to print PETG. I could just replace the connector, but since I am using this printer for work I am interested in further upgrading the main board to a genuine Duet Wifi main board, as well as converting my printer to 24V. In addition, I would like to replace my V6 with a Chimera dual extruder. I was wondering if anybody has experience on wiring a Duet Wifi on a DIY printer, as well as converting to a 24V setup (more specifically, choosing the correct PSU)?

Nothing really special about the situation, biggest difference is most Chinese / 8-bit boards use the JST XH style conectors, while the Duet uses the Molex KK style (genuine boards are shipped with a connector kit that has crimping terminals and shells) but you need a crimping tool to get good results. Plenty of threads on here discussing tools.
Choosing the correct PSU comes down to the total heater power and number of stepper motors and stepper current. Again lots of threads dealing with the same topic.
If you don't plan on replacing the 12v heated bed you should take some precautions to prevent overheating if running it at 24v with reduced duty cycle.
