My Duet Maestro is not responding

You've taken the jumper off now? It only needs to be on for one power cycle. Very occasionally you need to do it a couple of times.
Otherwise, it's probably time to start looking for damage, eg any chips that are obviously burned, or is there any chance that something metal touched/shorted the board. Is this a new board? Genuine Duet or clone?

Ok, so yes the jumper was off, I just tried it again and its still not showing up on my Windows PC. Board is a genuine Duet Maestro, purchased in August.
There doesn't appear to be any obvious damage to the board.

Try some different USB cables and USB ports.

I've tried 6 different USB ports and 4 different cables

Guess the next step for me here is to straight up replace the micro...anybody know if I can program the duet with a new chip?

Is your Maestro still within warranty?
-
@dc42 It should be, it was purchased July 18, 2019, however from a Canadian distributer

Are there any Unknown Device instances showing up in Windows Device Manager? This can happen if you don't have a suitable driver installed for the Bossa Port.
If not, then I am happy to authorise a warranty replacement.

@dc42 No there aren't, I only see "Communications Port (COM1)"

Please ask your distributor for a replacement under warranty, referring them to this post for authorisation.
