i assume thats what happened.
I have to rewire the connectors and stuff as i put my old mks gen in… but i assume board is fully functional. Such design must have several short protections...

Can't have protection in signal line. Try with your mks

The Duet WiFi is better protected from user wiring errors than most other controller boards. What is the current problem?

current problem is that i have to redo the connectors…. i put my old mks board in as i only have one printer.
dumb ass question... will you support the smartcontroller 2004 LCD ?? i hear the 12864 will be supported soon....

Support for other LCDs is low on the priority list because there are so many other features that users have requested - see https://www.duet3d.com/forum/thread.php?id=961. They will have to be 3.3V-compatible LCDs, not 5V ones unless you use level-shifters.
Have you considered using your smartphone or tablet to control the Duet WiFi via the web interface, instead of an LCD?

in fact i am… my current running setup is mks gen with octopi and i control everything remotelly... but i trend to use the kill switch of the smart controller board.
