Another End Stop Question
-
Hi Folks, I looked through the forum but didn't find exactly the answer. I have a Duet Maestro and looking to connect end stops. I have the wiring diagram printed out but when I connect my end stops as shown in the diagram, when the end stop triggers the Maestro resets and I show a connection lost in the web control page. I have tried reversing the connectors - same thing. I am using standard two wire (yellow / black) end stops that I have used with other conifgs and boards no problem. Do I need to use three wire or is it a firmware setting I have missed or ?

What kind of endstop id this? Mechanical switch, optical, magnetic .... etc??
Printer type? Need a bit more info to help you.

If it's a two wire endstop, and the endstop connector has 3 pins, which pins are you connected to?

Two-wire endstops must be connected to the two outer pins of the endstop connector. See https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Connecting_endstop_switches#Section_Microswitch.

Thanks - I will give that a go.
