Bed position

I looked through all the documentation and I didn’t see this reference (likely missed it) so sorry in advanced if this question is obvious.
On the DaVinci the endstop is positioned in such a way that the nozzles are not over the bed when the X endstop is activated. This means 0,0 is off the bed. How and what’s the best way to tell the Duet that the endstop is actually at X -30?

You can tell the slicer that you have an origin outside the bed volume.
That's what I do anyway.
