Deckingman's passing
-
I just rewatched Ian's interview with Tom at TCT show from 2019.
-
@T3P3Tony so sorry to hear of his passing. He will definitely be missed!
-
I will miss him, too. We had long conversations (outside of the forum) and he was always given me great and blunt feedback and advice on my ideas - whether 3D printers or anything else.
-
@T3P3Tony So sad. Miss him, too. RIP Deckingman

RIP Deckingman

Sad news. His contributions will not be forgotten.

Very sad to hear. RIP Ian

He will be missed.
-
He made some great contributions to the state of knowledge of FDM printing, especially in relation to multiple extrusion. We will miss him.

So sad to hear, he will be missed

Sorry to hear this, I’ve read a lot of Ian’s posts and watched his YouTube videos, a lot of good info. RIP
-
So sad to hear about his passing. Thanks for your contribution @deckingman. You will be missed!

deckingman was one of the staunchest supporters and harshest critics of Duet3D and RepRapFormware. I believe RRF wouldn’t be where it is today without him and he is a true loss to the community. Godspeed, and may all his hotends flow fast and even on the other side
-
So sorry to hear it. Rest in Peace.
-
So very sorry to hear of Ian's death. He helped me on many occasions and for that I will always be grateful. RIP
-
I'm so sorry to hear this. May he rest in peace. I only discovered his YouTube videos a few weeks ago, and it's heartbreaking to know there won't be any new ones. My condolences to his family and friends.

Rest in peace Ian

So sad.

Late to the thread, but very sorry to hear. His work (and the time spent documenting his work) was greatly appreciated.
