Re: Configuring Type 4 = sensor with microswitch
Today I connect a microswitch to filament monitor and configured to use it ( type 4)
I think there is a bug in the M591 D0 output it shows:

Duet3D rotating magnet filament monitor v4 with switch on pin io6.in, enabled, sensitivity 28.80mm/rev, allow 60% to 160%, check printing moves every 3.0mm, version 4, filament present, mag 132 agc 38, measured sensitivity 25.75mm/rev, min 97% max 103% ove

What firmware version and Duet board are you running?
-
@demonio669 if you are running 3.5.0-rc.1 then this has already been reported, logged and fixed. https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/issues/908

@Phaedrux
RepRapFirmware for Duet 3 MB6HC version 3.4.6 (2023-07-21 14:11:38) running on Duet 3 MB6HC v1.01 (SBC mode) -
@demonio669 thanks, looks like this issue affects RRF 3.4.x too.
Edit: I've amended the source code so that this should be fixed in the next 3.4 release,

@demonio669 have you tested this in RC2?
-
@T3P3Tony no, i'm waiting to try it on 3.4.7 or 3.5.0 (not RC)
