@CNCModeller replacing the ESP8266 usually fixes it

So it was on wifi outside of the printer but now it's having issues? Have you tried removing it and testing it on the bench? Maybe a short?

Yeah, the diagnostics above were out of the laser and back in the office, and I can't get any response. I replaced it in the laser with another Duet2 board and the replacement is working fine. Guess it's a dead wifi module as per the above diagnosis.

That's all in hand. The supplier has offered a replacement item. I'm not desperate for it as it's destined for upgrading my Wanhao D5s sometime in the near ish future.

Note to whoever repairs this board: yesterday I identified a QC issue with the soldering of the wifi module to the PCB on a different board variant. This is likely the same issue. Resoldering all the joints using no-clean flux, hotplate and fine-tipped soldering iron will probably fix this.
